Proposal: reactions beyond up and down votes

Up/down works for answers, but a lot of posts aren't questions. Would a small set of reactions (like, insightful, thanks) add signal without turning this into a like-farm? Curious how people feel about the tradeoff.

    I'd cap it at three reactions, tops. More than that and the signal drowns.

      Agree — and keep reactions separate from votes so an accepted answer still means something distinct.

    +1. A 'thanks' reaction would cut down on low-value 'thank you' replies cluttering threads.
